This would have been my second time taking instarsia to yarndale. Last year was my first and I felt a little out of place. I learned so much, had a lot of fun and I was ready to give it another go and see you all. However, we can still have a load of yarny fun from home.
Before I get going on what's new at instarsia this weekend, please get involved as much as you can. I'll be free all weekend if anyone fancies a woolly chat or has any questions, you can comments here, over on my Instagram and Facebook pages or even drop me an email. Don't forget to check out the yarndale website for their schedule and live events. #yarndale2020
So, I've been very busy getting instarsia.co.uk ready for this weekend and I'm ready to show you all my new goodies! First, there is my newly improved DK Children's Sweater pattern. The pattern now includes instructions for sizes 0-6 months 6-12 months and 1-2 years. That's 7 sizes total ranging from Newborn to 13 years! This version of the pattern is only available from Instaria.co.uk. Instarsia charts just fit on the smallest size so you may still prefer to use the 4ply 0-5years sweater pattern, but for those with lots of DK in your stash, you will love this pattern!
Now for the big new release, I bring you Instarsia Cushion Cover Base Pattern! This is a chunky knit cushion and looks stunning with all instarsia charts (that I've tried...which is a lot) it's perfect for adding personality to any room just a few of my ideas on how you might use this pattern - with a Name chart to jazz up a bedroom/bed, a great gift when used with someone's favourite animal or letter chart and (what I'm most excited by) ideal to make your own christmas decor using any of the Instarsia Christmas charts!
You may also have noticed I have a few new charts listed in my shop, you may or may not have seen them somewhere else. Most of these charts were originally featured in knit now magazine including my Fairytale Castle design which was the first pattern I ever had published in a magazine. I have come a long way since then! but they are all some of my absolute favourite designs. I think most people will be excited to see Draco the dragon, who I made for yarndale last year, you'll need to check out all the other new charts in my shop and I'll be showing them off on social media too.
I also want to give everyone a treat (I think we all need them this year), here's a discount code for 20% of my Halloween Charts - spookyyarndale20
This code is just for yarndale@home so will expire 28/09/2020. There's still time to get some scary knitting done before Halloween this year.
Oh and as another cheeky treat, make sure you're following me over on Instagram where tomorrow (27/09/2020) I'll be doing instarsia's first-ever giveaway and it's going to be a good one!
