When Kate at Knit Now asked if I wanted to design a Pusheen Sweater my first thought was - as if she needs to ask! For those who maybe don't know Pusheen I a "chonky" cat who has a simplistic design that is very modern.
I actually made a couple of charts (couldn't stop myself) and the image on the jumper pictured was chosen. The jumper is designed to be a cropped and oversized but I did want to find a balance between it being a comfy slouchy jumper and just looking as though you made the wrong size! I like the final results.
This jumper was knitted in Cygnet Chunky more info here
When designing characters it is important to try and match the colours as close to the actual design as possible so these colours were perfect. The main shade is pink as pusheen has a tiny pink mouth and I like it when you can tie colours in the chart into the overall design. But this sweater would look great in Light Blue or Grey.
