Kim the Pterodactyl is one of a series of colourful and original colourwork motif pictures. The dinosaur is worked in intarsia technique, while the rest of the garment is worked in stockinette. While Kim is not a difficult pattern to knit, it will be more rewarding if you are familiar with reading charts before starting. It may also be helpful to practise on swatches first. A sweater knit from this picture chart would make an excellent gift for any child who loves dinosaurs!
