A stocking pattern you can customise with any Instarsia chart. Stocks don't have to be just for Christmas this one can be used for any occasion, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Birthdays or even just a fun decoration. 
This stocking is worked flat so you can follow any of my instarsia charts. You begin by casting on just above the toe up to the cuff, then picking up the cast on to work the toe. 

There are 15 different charts you can use to customise the borders at the top and bottom of the stocking. This pattern includes written instructions on how to include any of my Instarsia charts on the front.
 
UK DK = US DK = AU 8ply
22 sts and 28 rows to 10cm, (4in) over stocking stitch on 4mm needles or the size required to give correct tension. 
 
Sizes Circumference: 
One size but you can use thicker yarn if you would like a bigger stocking.
