This mars chart can be a nice way to start intarsia, knit a red circle then duplicate stitch the orange splodges after your done knitting, you can do the same with the letters!If you like a bit of colourwork, make sure you have a few extra strands of red available. the bits of red between the orange sneak up on you when you're not expecting it XD
 
Yarn colours required - MC: Navy, CC1: Orange, CC2: Red.
